To All the wonderful Men in the world & in and around me, Here’s wishing you a very Happy International Men’s Day!
I got to knew only last year that Nov 19th was celebrated as International Men’s Day!
I don’t see much posts about praising good men around us who make it a safe, decent, happy & nurturing environment for women to lead their lives with dignity & peace.
I guess its an apt day to acknowledge the fact that we women do notice and appreciate the hard work you do, the daily struggle you go through, the challenges you face, the crazy juggling you go through & the sacrifices you make. Believe Me, we do NOTICE!!
Its not easy balancing different roles in different phases of life and ensuring happiness around.
Be it a role of a Son, Father, Brother, Husband, Uncle, Friend, Lover, Boy-friend, Grandfather, and the list goes on. Working towards creating a balance and harmony is as challenging for a male as it is for a female.
Thanks for all the good things which you do for us!! Thanks for your changing mindset & open-mindedness!! We respect you & we admire you! Keep up all the good things you are doing.
On a lighter note to all my female friends…………. You need to change your mindset too.
1 Next time when you see a fellow male carrying 4 gallons of milk from Costco – Do lend a hand. If its heavy for you, its heavy for them too.
2 Next time when you go to a coffee shop or a restaurant, offer to pay the bill.
3 Do take gifts for men when visiting a family – Poor guys. I have always seen people giving gifts to the females in the house.
4 In a crowded bus, train offer a seat to males too. They are also human being. And like us female, they get tired too.
And the list goes on………….
